Bitllion.org, a platform based on the #BITLLIONcoin, a token whose value is based on assets and company growth built upon the cryptocurrency decentralized blockchain, this week announced they will be officially hosting an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) this April. Developed to make it easier for investors to invest in blockchain technology, BITLLION wants to raise funds to create a crypto version of an economy backed by blockchain technology.

“We want to build crypto-viable cities in a world growing increasingly receptive to cryptocurrency,” said Charles J. Phua, Founder and Owner of Bitllion.org. “Having been in the market since 2015, we’re ready to officially launch our token into the crypto sphere, introducing what we refer to as Early Support Bonus for our investors immediately following the launch.

BITLLION issues tokens built on a profit-sharing smart contract, enabling token holders to collect 50% of quarterly profits. Token holders’ revenue depends on the asset market price growth and on the fixed part of the incoming fund’s flow to the businesses.

“In every way, this is similar to dividend payments. These payouts, as we call them cashbacks, are included within the smart contract,” said Phua. “Unlike other ICOs, we already have a proven profit-making formula that enables us to confidently announce our guarantee. Spread the word on our forthcoming market introduction this April.”

The minimum token yield guarantees 20% during the first year. Funds raised through the ICO will be evenly distributed to intelligent crypto-mining “WeMine,” blockchain software for businesses, smart wallet app “Moto,” and the crypto bank “Satoshi’s Vault.”

WeMine relies on cryto-mining, the processing of transactions in the digital currency system. BITLLION aims to have at least 1,500 mining rigs in their Singapore mining farm. Moto is a blockchain-to-human interface simplifying the interaction between the two entities. Moto will streamline the entire crypto experience, making it easier to understand for everyone involved. Satoshi’s Vault provides depositing and withdrawing capabilities for all BITLLION users. Lastly, blockchain for business means that BITLLION will be using smart contracts, also known as self-automated computer programs that carry out the terms of any contract.

The ICO pre-sale is now in effect. For the first 1,000 backers, a limited edition Bitllion Card is up for grabs.

JAKARTA, Indonesia — An Instagram account that published comic strips depicting the struggles of gay Muslims in Indonesia has disappeared following a frenzy of outrage online in the world's biggest Muslim nation. The Ministry of Communications said the account under the username Alpatuni was pornographic, a violation of a law on information and electronic transactions. In a statement Wednesday, the government said Instagram had "fulfilled" its request made in a warning letter for the account to be removed. Instagram, however, said it had not removed the account. The company said there were many reasons an account may no longer be...

Malaysian ex-PM Najib combative ahead of 1MDB graft trial

Feb 19, 2019

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — From appearing in an R&B music video and trolling social media to vilify the new government, former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak has been combative before the start of his graft trial, linked to the multibillion-dollar looting of the 1MDB state investment fund that has battered the country's standing abroad. The trial was to start Tuesday, but Najib's lawyers won a delay of proceedings on Monday. Najib's lawyer, Farhan Read, said the Appeal Court allowed the delay pending an appeal over a technical issue that the defense says could impair the validity of the trial. No...

Thai princess' political bid sunk by her brother, the king

Feb 19, 2019

BANGKOK — Thailand's chaotic politics took two astonishing turns Friday when the sister of the king made a historic bid to become prime minister, only to have him shut down her effort as "inappropriate" because it violated tradition and the constitution, which keep the monarchy from getting involved in politics. The royal order from King Maha Vajiralongkorn was read on national television late Friday night, effectively scuttling the move by his older sister, Princess Ubolratana Mahidol, to become a candidate for the prime minister's office after parliamentary elections scheduled for March 24. It was the latest event to roil Thailand,...

Thai princess finds tumult in politics, like life

Feb 19, 2019

BANGKOK — Princess Ubolratana Mahidol, the first child of Thailand's beloved late king, has always been a bit of a rebel, and on Friday she shook Thai society by becoming the first member of the royal family to say she would enter party politics. But hours later, her younger brother, King Maha Vajiralongkorn, commanded her to halt her bid to become prime minister, saying in an order read on television that no member of the royal family should be involved in politics. It wasn't the first unexpected turn in a somewhat turbulent life. Ubolratana, 67, was born into royalty but...

Bangkok flies drones as PM warns of costs in pollution fight

Feb 19, 2019

BANGKOK — A fleet of drones, trucks and small planes sprayed water to try to reduce air pollution around Bangkok on Thursday while the city's governor invited critics to brainstorm better ideas to improve the air quality in the Thai capital. Unhealthy pollution levels forced city schools to close Wednesday for the rest of week, and many residents are wearing air-filtering masks while they're outdoors. Faced with public discontent as well as a possible health crisis, Bangkok's governor, Police Gen. Asawin Kwanmuang, has declared the city a "pollution control zone," allowing firmer measures such as road closings and limits on...
